How to verify your identity with Releese?

Once you reach a certain earnings threshold on Releese, you will be required to verify your identity with us through an automated system. This enables us to ensure the safety of our platform, and maintain evolving KYC requirements. You will not be able to withdraw your earnings until your identity has been verified.

To verify your identity, go to your Wallet, and open your settings.

You will be prompted to upload a clear photo of your government-issued ID (driver's license, passport, national ID card, etc.)

You will take a live selfie to verify you are the same person.

Once your verification is submitted, it typically takes minutes for individuals to be approved or rejected, and up to 2 days for businesses. You can view your status on your Releese dashboard. We will email you the results as soon as possible.

1. What information is captured during the IDV flow?

During the verification flow, you will be asked to scan the front and back of your government-issued ID as well as take a live selfie photo. From the scan of the document we will identify the document type (Passport, Driver’s License, Government ID) and pull First Name, Last Name, DOB, Address (if available), as well as Document Expiry.

2. What type of device can you use to complete the IDV process?

You can choose to use either a desktop computer or mobile device to complete the IDV flow as long as the device has a camera connected.

You can also choose to start their onboarding on desktop and continue the IDV flow on mobile. When the IDV process is complete, you can continue onboarding on your desktop again.

2. Are both businesses and individuals required to verify their ID?

Both businesses and individuals are required to pass the verification flow.
