Our moderation team may require verification of your rights to upload content from artists or labels included in your release, especially if they are deemed high-profile. This precaution is taken to ensure copyright compliance and avoid potential legal issues.
If you've been requested to provide evidence of your identity as an artist or label owner, or to demonstrate your rights to upload content on behalf of others, you can do so by following these steps:
Contact us from an email address listed on official profiles.
Email us from the address listed on official social media profiles at help@releese.io, including your UPC code. For instance, if your official social media email is 'john@doe.com', send an email from that address to help@releese.io.
Additional evidence may include
- Providing access to the artist's official profiles.
- Sending screenshots of the artist/label logged into the admin side of their official social media accounts (Facebook, SoundCloud, Instagram) to help@releese.io along with your UPC.
- Supplying digitally signed contracts from both parties. Email digital copies of any signed contracts between the uploader and the artist to help@releese.io along with your UPC.
Please note: Screenshots or contracts alone may not suffice; we may request direct communication from the artist.
Once your identity as an artist or label owner is verified, future uploads from them to your Releese account won't require further verification.
