How do I transfer my music from another distributor to Releese?

Moving your music from Distrokid, Tunecore, CD Baby, Unitedmasters, and other distributors is simple to do on Releese. 

The easiest way to do it is to let Releese's systems do the heavy lifting for you. Locate your release on Spotify and copy it's link. This can be an artist, song, album or playlist link depending on what you want to import into Releese. Don't worry if you import something incorrect by accident, our systems won't push anything to store without you clicking the "Distribute" button.

• Artist link: All singles/albums on this artist's profile
• Album link: The single/album
• Song link: The single/album which this song is in
• Playlist link: Every release in the playlist

Once you have your link, head to your releases tab and click on "Create Release".

Click on "Import", and paste the link you have previously copied.

Once your release is imported, you will need to import your audio files, splits, and complete any metadata items which we could not import. Once your transfer is complete, an email will be sent to you and your dashboard will be updated.

Once you have located your release on your dashboard, you can click on the "Distribute" button to complete your release, anything missing will have a red triangle next to it.

Most of the time, splits, audio files, genre and sub-genres are the only items that will be missing. If more are missing, please follow the on-screen instructions to fill them. Once complete and everything is green, click the Distribute button and your content will be sent to moderation for review before being sent to stores. Once your release is approved, you can take your release down from your previous distributor.
